COACHING OPPORTUNITIES

At Sporting Kaw Valley (SKV), there are several opportunities available to those interested in coaching. Our Sporting Stripes (preschool program) and Recreation/PreAcademy programs are all coached by volunteers. This is a perfect opportunity for high school students (junior/senior) as well as college students to complete volunteer hours for school or a fraternity/sorority. The time commitment for these age groups vary from 10-20 hours over a 6-7 week season.

The Sporting Kaw Valley Academy program  is led by paid coaches each season. Coaches in the Academy are encouraged to complete the Grassroots coaching certification prior to coaching. The time commitment for Academy teams is around 10 hours per week. Seasons are 8 weeks long.

Sporting Kaw Valley Premier teams are led by licensed, experienced coaches.

All coaches are required to submit a background check through Kansas Youth Soccer Association. If you are interested in coaching at either of these levels, please fill out the form below. We look forward to hearing from you.
